As a IT Project Manager, you’ll play a vital role in our ThunderQuote team, being responsible for planning, coordinating with our IT and business team, overseeing IT projects from conception to completion, and communicating with internal and external non-profit clients to ensure project goals are met. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing IT projects.
Here are some ways you will be working together with us at TQ:
- Planning and defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to IT systems, software, and infrastructure.
- Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans specific to IT projects.
- Leading and managing IT project teams, including assigning tasks, setting project milestones, and providing guidance and support.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Communicating IT project progress to stakeholders, including team members, management, and customers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT project goals are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identifying and managing IT project risks, including developing contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Facilitating team meetings, including project kick-off meetings, project status meetings, and post-project debriefs specific to IT projects.
- Ensuring that IT project documentation is accurate and up to date, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
- Managing the day-to-day IT operations, networks and computer systems.
Requirements

- Candidates with project management and/or business analyst and/or change management experience will be highly preferred
- Areas of interest & experience: Digital transformation, operating model change, business process management, IT transformation/outsourcing, end to end workflow automation and operations.
- Eager to learn new things and is a fast learner who can work independently in short time and work under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and experience in working with cross-functional teams (IT and business teams)
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Exceptional task and time management skills, organizational skills, being able to work without supervision, strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
